The Coffee Ratio publishes free coffee-brewing calculators and educational articles. The calculator ratios and recipes are based on the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Golden Cup Standard and other published brewing references. Results are educational starting points for home brewing, not medical, dietary, or professional food-service guidance.

Accuracy & Estimates

While we test every calculator output and cite our sources, we make no warranties or guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any calculation, guide, or third-party link on the site. Your ideal ratio depends on your specific beans, roast level, equipment, water quality, and personal taste — treat our numbers as a starting point and adjust. Use of the site is at your own risk.
